Images Not Appearing In Search

You guys know I love my goats ...
Of my goat images, 17 are classified as digital art, the others as photographs. They've been up for years.
And because I'm a glutton for punishment I guess, I just had a look at where they land in the site search. There are thousands of photographs, so I won't even try,
BUT there are "only" 942 digital art images (https://fineartamerica.com/art/digital+art/goat) or not even 14 pages worth. My understanding is that the first 2500 images for a given search term are shown. But NONE of the 17 works appear in that search. Why is that?

ps. Just checked my roosters. Same thing. 30 digital art images with roosters. None of them appear in the search https://fineartamerica.com/art/digital+art/rooster (800 results).
What the hell?

I just searched goat, bubblegum, and then looked for images on Google, and you showed up at the very top of the Google search right away with your fine art image of a goat with bubblegum

Most people find us from a random external search, and not from an internal FAA search

Maybe change the order of your key words? Your bubble gum goat starts with candy. I would go with livestock, goat, chewing gum ie order of importance at least for the first 10 and if the auto sort changes your keywords weirdly re-edit until you feel your image is well represented in the search terms.

On a note : goat, bubble gum delivered your image withing the first four images.

Nina, thanks for checking. Yes, I think it's 30-40% that come straight from Google. But still, it's weird that a straight-forward keyword doesn't list relevant works.
Pamela, thank you too. What appears on the image page in the sidebar is out of my/our control. My first keyword, as entered in the keyword section at upload, is "goat".
