Uploaded Art Not Showing Up Yet On Public Website?

Good morning! I joined FAA just a few days ago and noticed that the images I uploaded yesterday do not show up on my shared website? They show up when I'm signed into my account/shop, but not when I just type in my webpage (from the perspective of a client). Does it take a certain amount of time before they show up? Like a 24 hour turnaround? Thank you for your advice/feedback!! ~Stephanie

This has been going on for others as well.

Well that's frustrating, thank you Jessica for the reply. I've sent a message to technical support so maybe if they get a number of notifications from a lot of us, they'll fix it?

Hello,

As a new member, you will not be able to see your images when logged out. This is to allow you to ensure that your pricing is accurate and that your images are of high enough quality to be printed before they are visible to visitors.

If people know your name then they should also see your link that you have given them or advertised. Never let people who know you have to search for you. Your link is mentioned below

There are several reasons why images may not be found in a search. Here they are for future reference:

1 The keywords do not contain the exact word being searched for. This includes names, which should be searched using the drop-down menu in the search box to switch from "keyword" to "artist."
1a. Alternatively, the keywords are too generic, such as "abstract," "sea," "sky," "landscape," "sunrise," etc. Use a site like http://www.mykeyworder.com/ to get better keywords.

2 The keywords have not been on the site for over 24 hours.

3 You have less than 10 images total and/or have been on the site for less than a week.

4 The images have a safe filter on.

5 The images are in password-protected galleries.

6 The images are past the last page of search results, which is not all images. We stop displaying after approximately 2000 images. If there are more images on the site than that, they may be at the back of the search. (This is often true for new images or images from people who have not yet sold.)

7 You have not had a headshot on the site for the past 24 hours.

8 You are searching for a gallery name that is only found on this page https://fineartamerica.com/gallerydirectory.html. The normal search pages only find art and artists whose names are on the work.

-------------------------------------

Check your own profile shop to make sure they are there https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/1-stephanie-lawhorn/shop ( https://pixels.com/profiles/1-stephanie-lawhorn/shop ) If not and you have over 10 .....and they've been up over a week, got prices and are not in a passworded folder, please let me know.

As it says on the pricing pages, non-household items are on http://pixels.com and premium sites only

The premium account is where you should be sending everyone as it is just yours

See this thread on specifics of images and how to be found both here and in Google.
https://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=4861127 Easy to read (hopefully) and you can get fast answers to questions on that thread.

Most sales come through Google and if you are asking friends and family to view your site here then you should be directing them. Other people would not search for you by name but will be searching by keywords, so make sure your keywords fit the image they are on.
