I emptied the trash to speed up the Photoshop scratch disk, its on an SSD so not even worth trying a recover. I still have unaltered originals...but kicking myself because I will lose the time spend dodging and burning, painting etc.
Mike, I don't follow you on your folders comment-- I think a hierarchy of galleries is *easier* than endless collections that are similar. For instance, I've got hundreds of scenes that are minimalist, meditative. Some are farms, some lakes, deserts, beaches....but all of the same *category*, so if a viewer isn't interested in that *type* of he scene, they can scroll on to another gallery of a different theme. Does that make sense?
