Remove Artist Fee On One Painting Only (after Fee Has Already Been Added)

I have a customer who I don't wish to charge a fee for one of my paintings. When I added the painting to my collection, it received the same fee as my default prints. How do I delete my fee on a specific painting until he purchases it and then change it back by adding on the regular fee???

Hi Scott,

Instead of changing your prices - you could give your customer a Discount Code for however much you want to take off your purchase price.

If you remove your fee then it won't show for sale. You have to put something in.

I had done this before with $0.00 dollars as my fee and it took it. But that was I originally set it up. I need to get back to that original setting of fees for that specific item and set my fee to $0.00 There is a way to set your fee for $0.00.

Click on your image, button "edit image".

I created a discount code for when my wife wants something for our walls. The discount is 99% - so it, basically, removes all of my markup.

Delphiimages is the way to do it! You have to have a price of at least $0.01 (1 cent) as a minimum in order to be accepted. But this works fine. Thank you kindly all who responded. Thanks Delphi!!!

The easiest way is just to have a 100% off coupon to send out to people. Then there is no need to change any prices.

If it were me, I would put the image in a private collection and offer the password to my client. That way I wouldnt have to remember to put the price back in or have to offer it for free should someone with fast fingers see it :-) Also you dont have to put one cent in if you leave the profit blank - no zeros.

If you do that, it's not actually for sale

Thanks for clarifying that Abbie
