What an invitation to have a vulture perch, a bat hang and a bunch of roaches parading across the branch!

Late season snow, these robins are waiting to make out their break out moment when spring arrives, so they can be the first one out. But Spring hasn't come yet, so its best to bundle up until then.

Everyone dresses a little differently, there is no reason to be the same as everyone else. You be you, don't let people talk you into wearing something you don't like, everyone has their own tastes... So what if its hard to keep a top hat on when you fly, its why I stand instead.

Update: Redid the edit concept but it will take a few days before the image changes here...

Abbie Shore's edit challenge #27. I processed the image by removing light noise, adding a subtle glow filter, a bird with it's mouth wide open waiting for a drop of water to come down from a tree branch. I added a vignette, lightened the background, added a water droplet in mid-air about to enter the bird's open mouth, etc.

Abbie Shore's edit challenge #27c. I rearranged and composed some original elements and added a couple of squirrels playing hoops. There's a basketball hoop mounted to a tree branch and one of the squirrels has a basketball in it's hands. I enlarged the image after first turning into a "Smart Object" to minimize any degradation. I then reduced the size of the water drips and added some shading and touch-ups around the image. I photographed the squirrels previously and digitally added them to this image.

I changed it to night scene.

Just for the hell of it, I've produced this silly image

Abbie Shore's edit challenge #27d. I enlarged the canvas and the image after converting it to a smart object. I replaced the background with a sunset I captured previously. I added a variety of silhouetted birds both perched and flying. Other touch-ups were made around the image.

My first effort was just playing. Here's the version I just uploaded:



I put in only enough info to get the upload, ... haven't filled in keywords, description, products. If I decide I like it, then I'll do this later.

Just finished what I had planned, right from the beginning.

A small boy stares out of a window at the moon and dreams of riding a horse. A branch from a tree provokes him to make an attempt at climbing out the window as he opens it but who knows how far small boys will go to make dreams come true? Maybe when the branch gets bigger and maybe when he gets bigger. Created for Edit this 27 Contest.
