Not Even A Bot?

I posted a new piece today and generally when I do that I get between 15 - 25 views. There are all bots and as I understand it, that's a good thing. It's how we get found by search engines. For the first time since I've been on FAA I posted a piece and not even the bots bothered to take a look. I guess they don't like me anymore. Is it me?

are you advertising in general? if your not waving your arms around at least a few times, it starts to ignore you.

I have a pretty good following on IG and my FB page, but I'm not talking about visits I generate, I'm talking about the bot visits I log merely by posting my work.

I haven't posted this piece to FB yet as I'm currently in 'time out' for posting to too many groups. Screw them...

I am having a lot of visits from china lately. Wonder if that is a good thing. Hope so!

Can't hurt, Hans.

a following isn't the same as showing those people you uploaded something new. its easy to friend someone, you have to keep putting in their faces all the time. i find IG doesn't bring in the traffic though, unless we can add links to pictures now. you shouldn't be generating any visits, you should be ignoring your IP.

on facebook you have to be careful, they are cracking down on stuff, just today i learned that if a group leader removes your post, they keep track and may ban you from using facebook or parts of it. and if your blasting the same image to a lot of groups fast, they can see that as spam - and erase your posts and ban you. so when doing it, do different ones, and don't do a ton in a day.

the post and pray method rarely works.

also bots ignore you if you haven't posted anything new in a very long while. if your very intermittent, and your not always stirring the pot, it will ignore. google also looks for you on places like social media, so if your not really posting to a public place, and your wall is private, or the groups are private, it won't help you much.

you can still post it to your stream, twitter and pinterest too.

I leave the Twitter thing on. That always attracts a few bots.

You can have some of my bots Karyn. It seems to be all I get. I'd like to get some real views instead. 99.9% of my views are from Beverley Hills and I'm sure they're bots. Why else would someone from the same place look at my work up to 20 times a day? I'm always posting to Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest but it doesn't seem to help - it's all bots.
