Great Video Creation Tool

As I wanted to step up my Video creation game I searched for an easy to use software to create videos. Very important for me: square and vertical (9:16) templates (for Pinterest and Instagram Stories).

There are some great free ones (Adobe Spark etc.) and some awesome paid ones. Unfortunately all of the good paid ones were really expensive (monthly fees from $29 to $97).

About a week ago I bought a lifetime deal of InVideo. Great templates (16:9, square, 9:16), easy to use, HD output (1080p).

Some of you might be interested to check it out. Price for lifetime access is $49.

You can get the deal here (I have no idea how long it will last): https://appsumo.com/r/cjjuk6n/ (Referral Link)

Be sure to read the reviews! The InVideo support is incredible, I never waited more than 5 minutes for an answer.

Thanks Matthias. And for adding this is an affiliate link...I appreciate the candour

You're very welcome Abbie, thanks for your nice words!

I always use a referral or affiliate link (if I have one) from a fellow artist when purchasing something. It costs me nothing and the person that recommended the software etc. may get a few bucks (in this case a credit for future AppSumo purchases).

It's important for me to only recommend products that I bought for myself and that I really like. I did spend many hours searching for online video creation tools and can assure everyone that may be interested that this is a great deal.

Best recommendation is to check out the link above and read the more than 100 reviews.

Read the questions and answers too.

While the reviews appear good,
the questions and answers provide a better feel for what it offers and doesn't offer,
or can and cannot do!.

I suspect many don't realize that the good old Adobe Photoshop they have can do basic video editing. Transistions, titles, fades, add music etc. Search on YouTube to get started.

Here are some examples (nothing fancy, I just used some of their ready made templates as I did not have much time):

Pinterest (vertical 9:16):

https://www.pinterest.de/pin/426786502187820246/ This one shows how easy it is to combine multiple video, image and text elements in one scene. Took me about 10 minutes to do this.
(I guess you have to be logged in into Pinterest so see the videos. They are made for mobile but should show on desktop too.)

Videos are doing great on Pinterest quite now but be sure to do vertical or at least square ones.

I will post a horizontal one on YouTube too if I find the time to do one today :-)

You can do much more with InVideo if you invest some time in the more advanced features

I used one of their templates, all the scenes are from their library of free videos.

A square one for my Instagram Account: https://www.instagram.com/p/BwgjozZBor7/

This one shows what can be made with text (important for a clear Call to Action).

Another option to create a video is to make a Power Point presentation and turn it into a video. There are actually some nice and fun features and affects and it is easy to go back and mess with it to make it better and better. It can't be used to edit other videos, however, that were not originally Power Point.
Here is an example - I did this entirely in Power Point

Hi Rose, thanks! :-) Videos can be up to 60 seconds in an IG post, pieces of 15 seconds in a story or up to one hour for live video.

Making Videos is so much fun, I just created this one with InVideo:

It's a promo video for the Pixels Round Beach Towels. InVideo did a buyer survey some weeks ago. They want to make the product even better. Every participant got 20 premium videos as a gift, I used three of them for this video :-)
