Hello everyone! This is my first attempt to market my
photography, and I am learning as I go. Any tips or suggestions you can give me would be welcomed and appreciated.

I am enjoying and appreciating the awesome creativity you share on Fine Arts America, and look forward to participating in this artistic community
and getting to know you.

Please take a look at my photography, if you have
the time, and let me know what you think. Since I am
still in the process of developing my photography skills, any constructive criticism and/or feedback you can give me would be appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Stephanie Thiel

Hi and welcome Stephanie! All your collections are password protected, so no one can see them. From what I can see of the logo image for each collection, gorgeous work... but we all want to see more than thumbnails :)

i can see some now, though i suspect you have more hidden. here's your critique on what i saw.

Sell Art Online
i think the processing is kind of harsh, makes it hard to look at actually. there is too much sort of noise in the background, caused by that canvas overlay. you need a lot more keywords than cat. and you need longer better descriptions. also if your going to take a picture of your own cat -- make sure you don't have clutter in the background, no matter what treatment you give it, it will always look like a snap shot. and lastly its rather small, shoot larger.

Sell Art Online
while the image has the looks of a painting, i'd stay away from that canvas background. its very distracting. in a real painting you may not see that background as its filled in with paint. the texture just causes my eye to be strained looking at it... this one is very very small. and again you need more keywords etc

Photography Prints
this isn't bad, but i don't get why you have black borders like that, the sky is a bit noisy as well. otherwise i'm glad i don't see canvas on this. you should have a color version of this as well for choice.

Photography Prints
this doesn't thumbnail very well, its cluttered, and that canvas background is too much. its also very dark, in fact a lot of your work is dark looking. be sure to calibrate the screen. most screens are set to 100% brightness, should be more like 25%

this image is also very small. really too small for anything real.

Art Prints
i like the effect on this one, it could be a bit larger, and slightly less neon. there are some compression issues, i can see squares in there that shouldn't be there.

Sell Art Online
this is a good size, but its been enlarged. it won't print as is, its stretched. don't enlarge images and don't use digital zoom. as an image on itself, its kind of dull. too centered, it would look better if off to one side to see the background better. the sky could really use some jazzing up with clouds. i'm guessing this is dusk, because it seems very yellow to me.

you still have a ton of images in password galleries.

i would avoid using a canvas background or keep it light, you must have better descriptions and keywords or no one will find it. you should set your camera to the highest settings, many of your images are way too small. some are enlarged and shouldn't be.
