Can't Upload Photos.

be sure your using a gmail address - or you may not get any mails as they send it to you.

turn off malware and virus software, it sometimes stops it. don't use the 5 uploader. try a different browser. make sure the image is below 25, and is really a jpg. make sure the browser is up to date, something might be stopping that script.

Thanks, Mike. I always go under 25, and most are 9-15. Just one at a time. I turned off my antivirus, but no help. Also, sent the techs 3 email addresses in case I missed one :). Sigh. It was like a switch flipped, and I hoped it was a FAA glitch that happened to others. Regards.

try another browser, sometimes it actually works. but there is an issue with uploading lately, so it might be that.

have you tried other files? maybe there is something in the file that can't be processed. like as an experiment, upload something you already sent.

I've only uploaded photos, as always, no special numbers, am wired, good speed at 2+, tried a different browser than Google chrome, nothing unusual. Except, I had to get into the registry last weekend to get my Dell to recognize its built in DVD player, which worked, by eliminating the lower and upper limits. At the same time, I emptied the cache, killed off the cookies, and got rid of my presets. Hmmmm.... Dunno.
Thanks again. Still not working, but playing with the computer.
I've been a member for years, so I know how FAA works, and it's always been great up until last weekend.

It works. It was my firewall....I paused it again just now, and I was able to upload photos. I must have done something last weekend in resetting stuff on the computer. Thank you Mike and Isabella!

i hate it when i try to solve a problem for one thing, and it breaks 2 more things.

I have been getting this message all day today trying to upload an image. I have never seen this before. Anyone else getting this message or know what it means?

"OOPS... SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT There was a problem completing your image upload (large=1 | medium= | small= | square= | ). Please try submitting it again."

James, change the images title

That is all you have to do for that error

Not accurate. Not always a solution. It has worked for me but it has also failed.

I got the "OOPS... SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT" error again this morning.
(Happens quite often nowadays.)
I did not change the title, I did nothing to the file at all.
I cleared cache (Firefox) and the second upload attempt worked fine.

Yesterday, had to upload 30 times, to get 20 images up on my site, seems the one thing that should work, ALL the TIME, would be the ability for artists to upload images.....
