How to make my own business logo?

With a unique business logo, potential customers can discover about your business and how it can benefit them. Logo is the visual representation of what the company is all about. Let it be McDonald’s or Nike, logo is the key identity of the branding and all the customers recognize these companies within seconds whenever they see their logo. Still many companies underestimate the value of good logo. As the key element of your branding, your logo must exhibit business’s personality and mark a striking impression.

Here are few tips on making your own business logo:

1. They look good in all sizes

Logos are used everywhere, whether on billboard, business card, company’s website, or any material required for different branding purposes. It should be easy to spot. And must be flexible enough to be resized on any material. You can see below the logos for different screen sizes.

2. They look good in color or black & white

Logo design must be unique enough so that it can be recognized without even colors. Can you recognize Pepsi or Coke’s logo even if it’s in black and white? 3. Identifiable without words

While making business logo for yourself you should consider wordless logos. These type of logos which are identified without words are the best of kind. They are literally serving the purpose of logo, companies are identified solely because of the symbol (logo) without any words. Example of such logos are apple, Nike, adidas, and many more. 4. They are Universal
