Studio 33 Art & Frame Gallery Presents Organic Lines & Local Landscapes, an art exhibit at 140 Bank Street, Downtown, New London, CT, featuring the work of four local artists; Photographer Carole Drong, Watercolorist and Figurative Draftsman William Lupien (1923-2010), Pastel Artist Joan Heffernan, and the Botanical Watercolor Collages of Gretchen van der Lyke. An Opening Reception will be held on September 22, 2017, at 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The show closes November 10, 2017, at 5:00 PM. Studio 33 has been supporting local artists and artisans since 1979. The 35 year old business is located on the Historic Waterfront District Heritage Trail; in the c.1840 Greek Revival Historic Home of Franklin Smith, Partner in the Perkins and Smith Whaling Firm.
