Lighthouse in Watercolour Pen and Batik on Rice paper

June 6, 17 Tuesday and June 7, 17 Wednesday
(Registration through Southampton Art School- but taught in Bev's Hanover Art Studio)

Batik is an age old process of combining watercolour and wax that creates delightful results. Batik does much of the work for you allowing you to save the light to your advantage while adding a new dimension and interest to your work. Create a beautiful textured and exciting Lighthouse painting, by combining mediums: Pen, Watercolour & Batik on Rice paper. Rice paper has a slight translucency making it seem to glow in a way that other paper does.
Students may easily use this process to other landscapes involving realism and abstract images.
