Chisholm Trail Heritage Center is the site host for national Youth Art Month, each March.
Show is open March 1 - March 31, 2017. Reception will be 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 2.
Area high school teachers submit favorite works selected by their students for display in this show.
It includes paintings, drawings, mixed media, pottery and other artistic endeavors created by the students.
In 2016, six area high school art teachers submitted 296 pieces of art for 100 high school students grades 9-12. The works represented three school districts – Duncan, Marlow and Comanche. A few students were from Walters, but attended school at the FAME Academy, which is in the Comanche Public School District.
