Repost Of Interview With Sean

We have enough new people now that i thought they may like to know who we are, and where we came from...

I read this article before and found it inspiring, i just read it again and it’s still inspiring. It’s a great story of how one person can with effort succeed in a world full of corporate ego’s. It seems Sean kept himself in his own bubble and look at the success he’s had and still having.

I bet he’s had a few offers from the opposition to buy Pixels, great to see him not falling for the easy money by selling up, he’s a grafter, it’s his baby and it seems he’s in it for the long haul.

So am i.

I've read it before; it is, as MG said - inspirational and also informative

Thank you, Abbie. Very interesting read, I especially like the part about the "not raising money" which ultimately means there are no debts involved, right? - real financial freedom.

That's correct. The site has gained financially where others are actually failing and fighting to pay shareholders. He is an inspiration

Sean's business approach is very intelligent.

He was ahead of his time.

This site is the absolute best.

I just got a notification from yet ANOTHER POD (yes, I use others as well, with greatly diminished success), notifying all artists that now we will all have the privilege of paying to simply have a smattering of images there. I know there is an annual fee here as well, but I make it up the first day.

60 bucks a year is now their lowest tier, to have up to 100 images. Since I make fractions of a cent there for every dollar here, it will be a hard no from me. I'll be walking away from "Humankind6."

Please tell Sean THANK YOU, and that I'm holding out that he doesn't plan on retiring and selling before I do.

Smart guy, good read.

Edit: The home grown vs fund raising comments resonated with me. My former life as a project manager for a large University nurturing a project management database dealt with many of the same issues.
