List your sales on one post and if you ran an ad or shared it on your social media pages from Black Friday thru Cyber Monday. I am by no means a top seller on this site. I wish I was one of those folks. Share even if it was a small thing.
I did run an ad and shared the discount on my facebook pages a few times. My ad cost me more than I made, but I am chalking that up as a learning experience.
These were my sales:
A canvas print of this fox painting titled, Hope And A Future.
A card of this drawing of my Sketchy Dog who thinks he is quite the sled dog.
A pillow of my Cat Burglar painting.
A canvas print of my watercolor painting of a Ruby Throated Hummer sitting on a Red Hot Poker flower titled, Be Still And Know.
I was, indeed, surprised - with my best B/F weekend ever. Eight items were purchased, starting with a Jigsaw early Friday afternoon to a framed print late last night. Friday had the Puzzle and an ornament. Saturday had a framed print, an ornament and a canvas print. Sunday had three ornaments and a framed print.
I had my best weekend ever, selling 9 items including 3 prints, greeting cards and a sticker. I do not run ads, I only post to my photography page. I sold 6 prints during the free shipping promotion also from a commission job I did in October. So, this has been a great shopping season so far.
Congrats to all who sold. I get about a dozen sales per year. About half come during these November discounts. I sold three prints, four single greeting cards and a box of 10 greeting cards, and a tote. I created and posted an ad on my FB page so my only cost was time. I asked people to share the ad. A few did. Here are the prints I sold this weekend: an 11 x 11 framed print, a 20 x 30 print, and an 8x8 canvas.
I had 7 sales from Friday to Monday. I shared sale info on social media, without doing any ads. I did some videos showing what my prints look like up close and about the sales. As I got print sales I posted about them which led to more sales. However this season it is quieter than last year.
I sold six prints November 24 -27, two on 24th, three on 25 (but one was a buyer error), and one on the 27th. I sold no products during that period. I did promote daily on my Facebook page and two of those sales (three if you count the mistake) were due to that promotion. I don't know about the others, but I kind of doubt it. Here they are.
The "mistake"" was "Full Moon - Geese" which a local buyer purchased in a too-small size and, despite contacting CS immediately, was unable to cancel; she was told she could return it, but says she will just keep it and gift it; luckily, she's good with that and, nice for me, she re-ordered at a slightly larger size.
Surprisingly to me, I made four sales yesterday: a large DP print; a jigsaw puzzle; a kids' t-shirt; 6 identical ornaments. None were due to promotion that I know of.
