Art Topic Like An Opening

We can discuss when we have a gallery opening. That is not seen as self promotion compared to discussing our own prints for sale on FAA in the forum.

I hope this is okay with Abbie and David.

This is not about scams. Yes you are being shown to scams endlessly in the NFT world.

This is about trying to actually sell my own NFTs to collectors in that orbit. I am offering my prints and merchandise to those collectors and that crowd as well using FAA's services.

You might find this somewhat informative. All of the problems on my end have been ironed out. Still on Opensea the animations will not fetch. Opensea has a larger staff that does not get things done. I have tried.

I am turning to Rarible. Opensea is a larger company but has spam and bots. Opensea claims it is 80% of their content. This means there are things Opensea wont deal with endlessly right or wrong and not only that Opensea can not keep up. Meanwhile Rarible is about 20% of the market and not much spam.

I imported my contract to Rarible on Friday mid day. The NFTs were minted for very little money on Opensea. That lower price is another story. The NFTs transferred easily to Rarible.

I could be embarassing myself here if this flops but the Rarible listings of my NFTs were not fetched either. The difference I wrote Rarible and a couple of hours later the head of tech services wrote back asking for two pieces of information to see about helping me. It is a long weekend. Perhaps early next week the content will be fetched on Rarible.

This is the Rarible Marketplace for my work.

Waiting on the content to be fetched.

Some of this is to demonstrate if you entering into doing it for yourself it takes a lot of patience and work. There are workarounds but it is hard to know in advance what works at all.

If you are wondering if you want to mint your own NFTs that would make for an interesting discussion on this thread. Minting them for yourself legitimately is not being taken for a ride by someone else. You can also currently with the market down do it for much less money. You can certainty do it for less money than I am. My cost will add up to $2500 but $1100 of that was registering my animations. The rest is minting the NFTs and advertizing them for about $1400.

I plan to do another project this year. The cost will come in at about $1400 including $770 to register 140 animations. It will be much easier next time.

Again if you are interested in actually doing this yourself that is the topic. Nothing else is the topic.

****if you are not interested in minting NFTs this thread is not for you**** Abbie and David have made moderation of threads clear.
