One Day Sketch Challenge - Shoe With Laces

I used a blank canvas in Procreate with an iPad and pen using various ink pens, technical pencils, pastels and more then finished with spires brush for some texture.

Drawn on a digital tablet, using the pencil tool.

These are really good!

Here is mine, pencil and ink drawing-sketch. I am finding out I do not have much of a steady hand anymore, but it is fun to try. :)

I put on my sneakers, looked down, and made this sketch, with my still temperamental digital pen and drawing tablet

RED RUNNING SPIKES: I made the drawing with pencils and after blending them, I added acrylic yellow color for the dots of the plant. And at the end I also used some white pastel on the paper to add some texture.

I know that usually shoes go in pairs, so you might wonder where is the other shoe? Well, my cat is obsessed with shoes and that one is her favorite toy. But that is an other story and an other painting, most probably. As for this shoe, my cat is quite intelligent and doesn't get close to it because of the spikes. (The story is invented...like the plant in the shoe)
