Ultra Wide Prints

What happens with panoramas and slivers? 2:1, 3:1 etc

Do they need to make speciality frames or do they crop and border the picture?

Or I'm hoping there's no problem if I ever sell one (or ten!)

Hi Mark,

They make the frames for the sizes that are for sale.

Open any size image - pick a frame - under the framed image you will see the image size and the overall size with the frame.

At the selection panel next to the size is 'shape'. Among 4 shapes there is the choice 'natural' which leaves the original aspect ratio unaltered.

I have some wide landscapes captured with a 6 x 17 camera and FAA adjust the frame and matting size to the image size.

The only thing is that when you upload, FAA gives you the option to allow buyers to crop the image to fit standard size frames. (in the section with the print sizes)

Just say No to that option and you should be fine
