I would add a translation. I don't know how many will google translate it? Although its difficult to translate poetry.

The only thing about translating a poem is that afterwards I hardly like it, it sounds all different...

I know what I will do: I will translate it and then let's see!

I think if you are going to start in english, then the poem should be in both.

Yep, unless you are a poet and good at translation, leave it in Italian. I don't read the language but strangely, having once learned Latin, enough of the vocabulary registers that for me, it works. If I had a suggestion, it would be to single space the poem.

Google is my translator. If there is any charm lost, it would be lost anyway if translated like that. You may want to add - a poem by me at the top. Because it sort of looks like the bio in a different language but the lines were too short which is why I translated it in the first place.

Anyway, instead of translating that one, I just wrote a new one directly in English but it's too late now, and I'm not sure if I have done well with my English.

THROUGH THE COLOR OF MY ART

I DREAMT A DREAM OF A PINK SKY,
AND OF ME FLYING UP AND HIGH,
DARING, NOT FEARING TO PUSH AND TRY,
TO FOLLOW THE TRAIL OF THE BUTTERFLY.

I DREAMT A DREAM OF YOU AND ME,
OF US TOGETHER IN THE IMMENSITY OF THE SEA.
I WANTED TO TASTE THIS HAPPY FLIGHT
AND GIVE COLOR TO THE DARKNESS OF THE NIGHT.

I DREAMT A DREAM IN DEEP RED AND BLUE,
BRUSHSTROKES OF COLOR TO GET CLOSER TO YOU.
I TOUCHED YOUR HEART WITH THE SOUND OF WORDS,
NOW GIVE ME YOUR EYES AND I'LL SHOW YOU MY WORLD.

I DREAMT A DREAM IN SEARCH OF SOMETHING,

I would most definitely keep it.

Maybe in both.; however there is google translate.

It took me less than 10 seconds to find the translation.

Probably you don't like none of them! It's fine, i just would like to know what you think, if you don't mind, of course.

Keep it native, just tell people in english that this is a poem in your native language. Or have one translated into english. Though I wouldn't double space it like that. Same with the bio, the extra white space makes it harder to read.

Martin, Thank you so much for your kindness, for telling me your preference and for liking them both! I appreciate it very much!

And a super thank YOU, Roger, for your question! I don't like my poems translated.
It's not only because they loose their charm but because it's as if I don't recognize them and I don't recognize myself in them.

That's why rather than writing a translation I preferred to write a new poem in English.
I will not add it in my bio because if someone doesn't like it, it might affect a sale.

And you can all laugh, BUT I LOVE IT.
It's about me, my art, my hopes and dreams, my sensibility, and many other things, I'm in there in the words I say and in those I don't say.
And I'm overwhelmed with tenderness in reading it.

So I'm truly happy I wrote it. It was an experiment, I didn't expect anything from it, but I wanted to try and it came out so fast, even though it's in English.

And I will always keep it. It will remind me of many of my artworks and of many of my feelings behind them.

This doesn't mean that I get sad or offended if others don't like it! :) I understand and I don't mind, even if I read a negative opinion, which I haven't, because nobody wrote one. Yet :)
