Regarding, contests:
It is very hard to pick, say only 5 images, out of hundreds & hundreds, of images in a contest.
Suggestion, ~ for HOSTS, who wish to reduce the number of votes, per person, immensely.
*The extra option, for Host, to chose 2, or 3, or 5, images, per page of 36 images.
Making it, easier, for a person, to pick, say 3 votes from the first 36 images; and another 3 votes for the next 36 images; and so on.

I really wish that when we replace an image something could be done about the thumbnail images that take so long to update. And they update in our collections but not on the image pages. It's just very frustrating,

Regarding numbering images…I wish we could simply type in a number rather than having to scroll down. Sometimes I want to send a newly uploaded image to the last page, and scrolling to get to the last number takes time.

I find when I keep my best sellers at the top of the image page they sell more often but if you do a bunch of uploads you have to move the new stuff off the top and that can be a real pain especially if you want to group them.

Help for group administrators.
Several of the groups I belong to have a number o my last submissions stacked up and pending approval. When I talked to the administrators, they said they just don't have time to get to them, but they will.
Why not copy Facebook, where the Group Administrators can get help running their groups by assigning moderators or co-administrators?

It would be really nice if FAA could update and improve the wall art mockups that we have. And also the ability to download them so we can share without them looking crunchy or blurry.
There are apps out there that a lot of us use, but it would be nice if FAA can integrate some of those for our listings.

Requesting again to have mirrored option on .75 canvases rather than only black or white. Really, I would like the option for all canvases to be gallery wrapped with the image wrapping around.

If someone types in my name in the FAA search engine, it brings up product categories that depict a variety of my older images that have been my best sellers. You can see my collections below, but above and below the collections, all of the shown images are among my oldest and best sellers. I totally understand why FAA would do this, but . . .
My wish for this month's list is that along with those older best sellers, some of my most recent works--like the two most recently added pieces OR the two that I have at the zero and one positions on my images page--would show too when someone searches for me by name. It would show a better sampling of our work to potential buyers.

Not sure if this has been asked before but a great idea for customers and saving space on your servers would be for the customer to be able to click a button that would toggle the image to black and white.
This would be something they could buy in B and W which would help the artist not having to upload both versions, which, like I said would also save your space, win win

A suggestion for the email page would be to have SAVED or ARCHIVE or TRASH folders available. I just mistakenly deleted two emails I had been keeping in my inbox (from two different groups announcing they were starting Facebook pages). My bad, I know, but it would be handy to be able to retrieve them. Thanks for listening!

Now that my shirt has already been shipped :) I have a question for the next billboard contest, please:
Would it be possible, please, to have 20 choices from those who reached 100 votes
And 1 from all the others?
The reason I ask is not because I'm thinking just of myself, but because there are great artists that don't like promoting.
But even though they might not bring you votes, they will bring you more sales for sure!

If there was a button for a buyer to change an image to B&W I would want to have the option to disable it.
On Photoshop just choosing black and white never gives me the finished look I want.
I like to adjust each color individually as well as adjusting the contrast.

Regarding group management options:
It would be very nice if the "Feature on Homepage" button in the group image admin section had some kind of indicator that images are or are not already featured. I would suggest perhaps either disabling the button for images that have been featured, or changing its color to say red for no and green for yes, or a star added, or something that shows the image has been acknowledged. Not a Web Tech so whatever works will work for me. Thanks for asking.

I would love love love it if we could give the UpDater Computer some go-juice.
I try so so hard to wait before I upload a new image. And I do. But it's hopeless (or I'm hopeless). There's just something about uploading to Fine Art America that brings out That Flaw ... the one I had managed to not see ... or ignore ... to bring that puppy right out into the open. And then, that's ALL I can see. It happens over and over. So ... I fix it and upload the change.
Then I wait.
Sending up little prayers to the UpDater Computer to come along and scrape out the bad version and update the new version.
Can't we give that computer a new oil can, or some tastier go-juice ... or maybe a kick in the pants???
I know I'm not the only one with this silly problem.
(And yes, I know it's a problem that I create all by myself.) (And yes, I DO clear my cache.)

Re display of existing file names when adding a title to NEW uploads:
I sometimes use repeated file names for similar uploads and then give them a unique ID number at the end of the file name, eg, Abstract - 1, Abstract - 2, Abstract - 3, etc.
When I start typing a new upload file name in the Title field, the system displays a drop down menu showing up to 6 (I think that's the maximum) existing file names matching what I have typed so far, which is helpful, BUT the most recent (highest number) is not always displayed. For example, if my most previous upload for the sequence was 'Abstract - 27' and the next new upload should therefore be 'Abstract 28', the 'drop down menu' only displays 6 existing names: 2, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, but I want to know that options 26 and 27 have already been used/uploaded previously, otherwise I could end up repeating an existing file name which we all know causes display problems.
So, my suggestion is, can the number of existing file names shown in the drop down menu when adding similar file names for new uploads be extended to 10 (or possibly 11) so I can always see the highest number already uploaded for my file titles sequence.
PS - I only upload new files via FAA, so have no idea if this situation is the same for Pixels or our Premium website.

Some sort of pickleball product. Probably too expensive to do custom paddles though beginners might buy cheaper custom paddles but paddle.covers or equipment bags might work. There's got to be huge Google search traffic for anything pkckleball these days to tap into.

I added this as a suggestion to Group Administrators in a separate thread, but I thought maybe FAA could give them an easy way to do this?
Could you please, if you get a chance, possible add the following "codes" to the beginning of your group names? You will hopefully get less wrong/inappropriate additions to your groups.
1D = 1 a day
1W = 1 a week
PH = Photography Allowed
DA = Digital Art Allowed
PA = Paintings Allowed
I decided to go to the groups themselves to add my newest images (instead of adding them when I upload) and was STUNNED at how many groups were only 1 a day and/or only a specific medium. If I knew that while I was uploading (by the codes above) it would make your job, and yes, my adding to groups easier.
Gosh, if I am adding incorrect images, or too many a day, to your group I'd rather you just delete me from it.
But, if you can add the above codes at the beginning of your groups names that would be a big help for both of us.
Thank you for your consideration of this and for all you do in running your groups! I know it is hard work....that's why I don't run any anymore.

I would like another level of categories so that we can have subcategories within a top-level category. Just one more level would work wonders allowing better organisation of images. Yes, this can be controlled with tags to a certain extent however Im interested in helping potential buyers see the images organised too.

I think I asked this one years ago.
The 20% discount is confusing because it moves from one device to another, and i'm getting to think that people feel like its a bait and switch when they get a discount at work, add it to their cart, go home, just to find it missing (at the very least if its in the cart it should have kept the discount code for continuity). And I think people are waiting for the 20% off sale, now that they know it comes up often if you wait. And while waiting they may forget to buy the work. So I don't know if its doing good now.
So...
I would like that group bulk discount. DP you need a special account, and often you may get a steep discount because they bought in bulk from everyone. I would like a group discount for non DP sites.
Buy 1 print (or item), full price.
Buy 2-3 prints and its a small discount, say 5%
Buy 4-5 and its like 10% off.
But all from the same artist. This way they know what they will get, we the artist get the full money, the customer leaves with more things because they got a discount. Not everyone has a decorator's account, they just want to fill their room with art, that group/bulk sale, may push them over the edge to get more.
Each artist would have to be itemized on the shopping cart showing the discount was for that one artist.
This would also be instead of the 20% off.

I do like that the dimensions of the uploaded file now show by "Prints" when you are uploading or editing.
I wish that the required dimensions for the individual products showed by the products, too. I know there's a template, but it's really a nuisance to have to click to open to check those numbers.

I would love to be able to control which images are in the "More from artist name" under each image page. Hope I said that right.
OR
I would like to know how those images are chosen in the hopes we can manipulate that.
It seems to me if the images are more similar to the main image it would create more choices for a potential customer. BUT when they are totally different I am going to guess they will not be clicked on as often. I would kind of be like each image having a sort of mini gallery.

I can do this (type in the number) on my Linux desktop - so I assume it csn be done on any desktop - but not on my mobile phone. Sometimes it has also been possible to scroll straight up from the top number 0 to the bottom number, but I have not verified if tbis is always true, e. g. when editing the order of images in a collection.

Issues with PayPal arise frequently where people get locked out of their accounts or don't want to have PayPal, or whatever.
FAA really should offer a couple of payment options, direct deposit would probably be best for most people.
What would Sean do if PayPal is suddenly unusable? It's dangerous to have all payment eggs in 1 basket.

I just noticed the YouTube vid button on our art pages.
I would love to see a feature where the customer could play a slideshow of our own work on our artpages...maybe that play button could be just above the YT button?

Related to sales and transparency...
I would like, if there is a 20% sitewide sale running on FAA, it should be visible to everyone, to every artists on the banner of the Fine Art America and Pixels site clearly indicating what is on sale till when. Not only to pop up for certain buyers accidentally for a short time.
(This month I had an exceptional quantity of 20% discounted sales, yet I never ever seen any sales running which makes me feel totally uneasy. Because I don't see any sales running, while almost every second sales profit has a cut of 20% sometimes with 50%. Due to the google ad )
And this is related to the transparency of the above issue, that would like if we the artists would be able to see the difference at our balance, that where the actual sales happened, on which site the purchase were made.
We know clearly if a sale happens on Designer prints site or the PX Puzzle.
I would like to see also which sales happened on our Premium Website and which on Fine Art America and which on Pixels.
As we know 20% sitewide cut or 50% Google ad sale happens only on FAA and Pixels and NOT on our AW Premium Sites.. The same as Designer print sale happen only on the DP site.
We should be able to see on our balance which purchase was made on which site. And to see clearly which % cut was a result of what on which site...
Also if you make a Tshirt sale on our Premium Website, etc, please let us artists know about it. If any sale running on our AW, we should be able to advertise it and turn to our benefit to make the most of it, not just have some cut here and there from sales we never see.

I thought the sales were supposed to be really random, but 11 of my sales this month were all discounted. I'd also really like to know why sales are being run on my AW, I thought we had creative control over it, yet tapestries are all on sale. And clothing. I really thought these would be contained to just FAA or pixels. Not the site I send customers too.

Greeting cards, the gap between ordering single and 10 cards is wide. Could a pack of 5 cards be included, for me and I am sure others, it would be a great help when ordering various designs in batches.

Please clarify or fix discounts on AW sites. I see FAA 20% sales / discounts on FAA and ALSO on my AW. As I understood it, I opted in for FAA only, my AW remains independent.

I agree with James...I don't want to promote my premium site only to have a discount taken from my profit. I want to be able to control my own discounts on what is supposed to be my site. Plus people shouldn't be able to combine discounts.

PleasepleasepleasepleasePLEASE if there is ANY delay in shipping for absolutely any reason this holiday season, please have the courtesy to let us know. This is a "holiday surprise" I have had to deal with more than once and it's just not how third-party sellers should be treated. All I ask is that you have the consideration to keep us in the loop.
And frankly, this shouldn't only be a holiday thing.
