"Blue Morpho Butterfly on White Birch Bark" by Patti Deters. The bright blue of this Morpho peleides butterfly wings shows up nicely against the creamy white bark of the birch tree. These are the same butterflies you can see in most butterfly gardens - they are one of the larger specimens and so very pretty! "I'll follow the Son: On the way to church one morning, I noticed I was in time to see the sun rising... so I took this more scenic route in order to capture it on camera... I wish I had had a clear shot when the sun was even more glorious-looking!... This is a zoomed in version, cropped around the trees like that. I might do something extra creative/ artistic with it later, too, we'll see! :D I don't believe in copying other peoples' photos to sell them -- I took this photo myself."
