Calendars would be a nice addition.
(I know, I'm sounding like a broken record here, but...)

I wish that we had the option to choose which wall decor substrates to sell instead of having to sell all of them or nothing. I would prefer not to sell wood prints for example.

I wish the same thing for t-shirts. If we could choose which t-shirts to make for sale instead of all or nothing.

Often I upload images that don't work for various items. I have to blank out every single markup, and some items, like T shirts, have lots of lines to blank out. I would LOVE if each category - like T shirts, pillows, etc, had one box to check to turn that category OFF. Would save a lot of time verses blanking out each size.

The ability to offer customised print sizes from ones Premium Website.

Currently this is only available if customising say a canvas size of 30”X40” on pixels and adding to favourites, but if i go to my premium site, tap favourites, tap a customised image and promote link, the image defaults back to 6”X8” size. Tapping favourites in pixels and promoting the link from there, the customised image does not default back.

I prefer to promote everything from my premium website.

A single button to turn accessories on / off. I have an equal number of images that can go on pillows, etc and images that I do not want on pillows, etc. It would be so much easier than having to either delete the prices one by one or add them one by one.

I wish that once a contest is ready to go live, that the first images added become the first you see instead of the last images uploaded. I have noticed that people vote on the latest images (as they as shown first) and then often the voting for the later ones don't get as many votes. This happens particularly when you have contests with 300-400+ images. What is worse is when certain contests have a restriction on how many can be voted on. So, for example, you are restricted to 10 images to vote on, once those have been done, you no longer vote. I think more people would enter. I know that often when I see there is still a week to enter, I don't because of this and then oftentimes, miss the final day to upload.

Also, I also wish that if someone posts in a thread, there would be a reply button at the bottom of their post, that we could reply to something somebody says directly and they be notified that their specific post was being replied to.

I would really like to have our groups visible to the Search Engines.

- At least the front page where all the featured images are, if nothing else... * It used to be seen by the SE's in the past.

** ... and maybe we can get more value to our images that have been featured?

I would love to see mouse pads! Thanks. :)

Of all the merchandise there is one glaring thing missing.

Women's Tees and apparel are lacking a broader color selections.

All of that merchandise has a full color selection, but not Tees. Particularly limited are women's Tess.

There is a competing POD site that allows up to 150 MB files to be uploaded. They sell curtains, chairs, stools, credenzas, and more as well as everything we sell here. Shipping is free. My wish is that we could compete with that. (Their website is more difficult to work with and their store front isn't anywhere close to as nice as here.)

Often I list an image that can be minimized to fit fine on a product (phone case, coffee mug, etc) without creating a template, but the color selection for the surrounding area left from the reduction is not a great match for my image background and searching out a custom color can be time consuming. My suggestion is that an eye dropper be added to the customizer so that we can quickly capture the correct color from the background of our image. I notice the most difficulty when my image has a dark background. I can get close, but never really see how seamless the two colors will be when printed.

Looking ahead to holiday sales, would it be possible to begin and end one-day sales at midnight Pacific Time instead of Eastern Time? As it stands now, it is awkward promoting a specific date because on the west coast the sale actually begins at 9:00 pm the day before the sale date, and ends at 9:00 pm on the sale date, even though people may still be shopping after 9:00. If sales started and ended at midnight Pacific Time the sale would begin and end in the wee hours of the morning when most people are asleep, making it easier to promote one date across the entire continent.

I would like to be able to somehow do a check to find out which of my images I've forgotten to add to a collection, or have forgotten to add a price for any of the products. Some sort of tool that would help me audit my portfolio, as it were. Thanks for asking!

The watermark is optional, so please place it diagonally across the image, the current one looks like a signature. Also include in the watermark the word 'copyrighted'. Thank you.

A suggestion for next year's billboard contest: rather than having people vote via Facebook, set up a website specifically for voting, allow people to vote either x # of times or once per day....I've seen other contests do this.
This is a bit of a self serving request. I don't use FB and I have quite a few friends who don't use it either. People who use FB would still be able to advertise on FB, but they would send people to a site for the voting.

Thanks.

For Carry-all pouches, can we have the option of vertical or horizontal orientation like we have on other products?
Thank you.

This is more of a reminder because i asked for this years ago, but can we have check boxes for everything we sell. 1 master that turns on or off a section and little ones per product.

Un check this if you don't want to sell it -- but the prices are still there, should I want it later on.

Blanking boxes doesn't make sense to new people, and its a pain to do. And if I want to sell it again I have to look up the prices or do a bulk update. And if I can't sell a size and remove the prices, when I do update, all of them are put back. But if the check is there, it would just stay hidden.

PLEASE (begging here), can we have the image number position showing somewhere when we search for an image. I just had to spend 45 minutes (literally) looking for an image to move to one of my first few pages. I have over 200 pages of images and there's no way to locate the "number position" of an image without going through every single page. We used to have a number above the image when we clicked on it that said, for example "image 500 of 2,500". That went away several years ago and there is no way other than scrolling through all your pages to find an image and then be able to move it to a different position. Searching for it does nothing because you STILL don't know what page it's on or what position it's in.

I appreciate the fact we can move things around, but the ability to know what number position an image is in after simply doing a search for it by keyword would REALLY help.

Floyd Snyder

Agree with Mary. The sorting and positioning of images need to be simplified.

Mary B - do you give ID numbers to your images?

If so, use that - if not, start using them.

there is no faster way to find an image than to place the ID in as a keyword.
my very first entry in my keywords is my photo ID# for each image. ie, D2-F-1234
search that key and no matter where the image is you find it in seconds.

Positioning it is another matter - when you are in your "image" page each one has the position option.
NO reason why FAA can't put that in the collection pages as well - - if they wanted to
And as for what page images are on - I don't have a need for that. Not sure why anyone does.
If I can find the image and others can also with the ID keyword, what do I need to know what page it is on?
Even in a collection I see no need to move them in the pages. What does moving them get you when all you care about is FINDING them?

Abbie....I think you should push forward once again on this prime suggestion you were advocating for 11 -- (THAT'S ELEVEN)-- years ago. It's been recommended many times since then but maybe one more time will be the charm.

"CARDS

Mix and Match Greeting Card Boxed Sets for purchase from a single artist's portfolio.
matte finish rather than a glossy finish
the back should highlight (bigger) the artist and title, rather than the FAA logo
Standard postcards and smaller postcards - gift tag or large business card size
Ability to put a message into cards and on the back of postcards - for promos and for the literati artists.
The ability to print artist trading cards. Maybe in groups of 50 or 100 minimum? With the ability to put our name and website on the back.
a list of fonts for the interior of greeting cards
Artist default choice of image reproduction (ie cropping etc) , via Edit/Artists site, not available to the customer.
the option to produce cards with a square rather than a rectangular format
the printer marks the shipping envelope: Postmaster, Please Do Not Bend
put a layer blue box inside of FAA box when making a card about a 1/8" that way you would always be within the bleed line."

@ Paul - I'm not talking about collections. Those are easy to rearrange. I'm talking about the entire portfolio. I can find an image by searching for it, no problem. But say its in position 1437 and I want to move it to position 525. There is NOWHERE that indicates what position an image is in when you search for and find it. You have to go through page by page to find what position an image holds. If I had knows years ago that "number 25 of 500" would disappear, maybe I would have numbered my images in the keywords. But with over 11,000 images posted that's not practical now.

I am sure it has been suggested before but it would be helpful if in Group Discussions you could have the option to reverse the order from " oldest" to "newest" posts as you can on the main Discussion Board.

I would like if all the different products and all type of prints FAA offer, were available to order from fulfilment centres located in the European Union.

( I am loosing lot of sales for instance from American expats living in Portugal.. they know and trust FAA, but no way they will order things from US and pay the additional taxes now even on small amount items, and high shipping. They say me regularly they would buy this or that, but they comes from US, and they always ask if I don't have a shop in EU at least, which I really wouldn't like to enter to a local pod. Everything should be available from the EU too, mugs , pillows, totes, everything, would be so great )

Can FAA please get rid of the StumbleUpon and Google+ icons once and for all. It's such a simple thing to do and makes FAA look ancient and so out of touch!

I really wish I could choose for myself whether I would have a Premium page here at the FAA or at Pixels. Pixels sound like a joke to me. And I don’t mean to buy my own domain so it bothers my eyes. I know I don’t need to use it if I don’t want to. But it still pops up in google search. When I read the discussions of other artists which link is better to use, I get lost because it’s about half-and-half and I don’t know who to listen to. I waste my time constantly dealing with such things. These two sisters confuse us sellers and how not our customers. It would be good for the sisters to split up completely or merge into one (FAA :-)). Please really consider that suggestion.

And I think the big problem is that our potential customers are forced to open accounts here to shop. If you haven’t tried that way yet, I would beg you to give it a try. If in just a few months there will be no change around the amount sold, you can easily go back to the old. Post on social media that customers don’t need to open an account to shop, and there will be a rush.

I apologize for making two suggestions in one month. So next month I will be quiet ;-)

I renew my plea that a member site logo Must be safe filtered too!

I just sold a flat mask & saw that the image wasn't centered the way I would have done it. If the buyer assumes the image will be adjusted prior to printing, but their mask arrives with the image cut off, they may be very disappointed with their purchase.

We can only adjust the image size/placement on the folded masks, not on the flat ones.

I suggest we be able to adjust the images on each & every product available.

I don't know if FAA has any kind of options for charity support, but I'm guessing not.

I have no family so when I die EVERYTHING I own is being given to charity,
including ALL of my photography equipment and images.
One children's charity will be given control of all of my FAA image collections and receive all sales from them after I die.
However,,, I'd like to see a payment option available NOW so that I could assign TWO accounts
to where my sales money goes. Now all of mine goes into one Personal acct.,
but I'd like to be able to have a percent of it go to my acct. and the rest of the amount
go to the charity I am supporting.
I can't see where that would be all that much work to set up and
just think of the publicity FAA would get for actually helping their members help charity causes.
!

Kall3bu & Mary B
Yes, I know both of your points. I was talking more about finding an image more than positioning an image.
I've always wished there was a way of finding what PAGE an image is on.
Now it's a NIGHTMARE to use.

I'd like to suggest somewhere where we can select the background color for all products so we don't have to open each product one by one to pick the color. Would save a lot of time as I started changing all of them to gray or white so printed products don't look darker than the photo.

Fix the shipping prices. Specifically, shipping of multiple, light weight items is ridiculously high. Shipping one print rolled in a tube actually costs the same as two prints in the same tube. Our customers should not be charged more for shipping the second print. Shipping two masks, or tee shirts, or tote bags simple does not cost substantially more than shipping one. Charging customers twice the shipping they know they should be charged kills sales.

Like some other folks were sharing. It would be great if there was an easier way to turn on and off products with a button as opposed to having to take off the markup. When I first joined I was totally confused, and then finally with the help of some people here I was able to understand how it works but still find it hard to work with.
It would be a great to simplify this process.

Please consider adding Indian Rupee as a currency option.

Also it would be nice if an artist can change the currency, depending on the geographical location of the buyer. A buyer is most comfortable paying in his/her local currency.
