2021 Billboard Contest Is Opened

Great idea. I am curious what kind of themes and mediums are the most suitable for this contest. Also if there is any criteria regarding the dimensions and aspect ratio for submissions.

I am very happy to be entered in this.

That said if all my friends have to fork over email addresses to vote it wont happen.

I hope that has changed this time around.

The reach of this contest would be much greater if the email requirement is not in play.

adding if email addresses are required to vote FAA hardly will get anyone to see the contest and only people with long email lists of addresses FAA actually already has will be in play. It becomes very redundant.

The powers that be messed this up badly with that requirement last time.

Like I just added there are some artists who have long email lists and those email addresses FAA actually already have as well.

Just locked a lot of people out and we know it. We wont do anything at all within a few days from now if the requirement is entering an email address to vote.

Ok, going on the fact I have been a party to years of these, and that I know what is going to happen.....

I know you have entered 3, but ask people to vote on ONE. link to 3 but ask for one vote. Then you will see which image it is best taking all the way.

People only have a few votes and everyone and their family are asking people to vote on theirs also. Make it easy on people. Ask them for one vote and then don't advertise the two that are lagging way behind. You can then REALLY promote the best one and not stress people out

We see a lot of people very upset half way through as people remove their vote so they can vote on another friends new entry

I entered three as well. Last time I was new here and just entered quite late on a whim. It'd be cool if folks would consider throwin' me a vote. Ta!

I did as I promised - I used all the remaining votes I had to vote for images that had not quite reached 100 votes. I pushed one over the top and made a few others close.

I only got 4 votes for my image. That's OK. I hope I helped a few others reach the threshold.

The 2021 Billboard contest voting just closed - at 9 pm PT on August 31st. The final results are due on September 15.

We, probably, could still vote.

However, I think, FAA management already got the list of images with over 25*X (for those who get t-shirts), over 100 (for possible winners), and over 250 votes (for those who get canvas print) and will not add any more images to this list.

Abbie, I would like to ask related to the Free Canvas Print prizes, that if possible to make sure, that if someone will order them from an EU country, then they will print and ship from the fulfilment centre located in the European Union ( I mean to EU should be shipped from Netherlands and not from UK, to avoid tax.. )

And that the shipping for the apparel and the canvas prints will be free also for Europeans, not only to those who order from the US.
The Apparels are made only in US, so that shouldn't have prize or sent as a gift to avoid tax .. (?)
If I remember well if was some issues around the shipping cost to EU at last contest, just to be sure, that what is free, should be free completely to everyone ... :)

Sorry to correct you but the prize was a t-shirt with the Pixels Logo on it, not your artwork, in a variety of colours and sizes.

@Bill Great ideal! I made a patch of my teapot letters & QR code & sewed on a cap this summer... Hoping to get some clicks...
Hadn't thought to just wear FAA/Pixels that someone might ask what it is... Curious does your b-card just have your US premium or do you put full contact info?
My car has QR codes on it to try to get driveby clicks, interest... tho that slowed way way down due to covid unfortunately for me.
