Whimsical Nature Art By Adele

Creating Collections

I want to start creating Collections, as I would like to post a group of my current images refashioned into poster-style versions (matching colored borders w/ title), making two Collections (so far) while I work on more paintings.

I've noticed that the names of most Member's Collections are pretty straightforward - cars, bears, lighthouses, etc. My question is, must we chose from pre-selected Collection titles (what is that drop-down box?), or can we make up our own names for each Collection?

Also, there is a Description box to be filled in, but I don't see it on Member's Collection pages. Is that just for Search?

Thanks!
Adele

Hi Adele,

Wow wonderful paintings!

You can title a collection any name you want

The description will show whenever someone opens your collection

By the Drop Down Box - are your referring to the Password Protection - YES - NO Box

If you select NO - anyone can see your collection - If you select Yes you would enter a password and only you or someone you give the password to can open the collection.

David,

Thanks so much for your kind compliment and answering my questions in such a direct and understandable way - much appreciated!

(Also just what I wanted to hear :)

Your stuff is so sweet!

You can title the collection anything you want.

Your descriptions are very good on your images. I think you will do very well here. This is my favorite.

Love your paintings. I won't touch on your questions, since they have been answered. I just wanted you to know you are doing good things.

These are lovely Adele!

My only comment is just to make sure you know that if you add a colored boarder, when printed, you will get the colored boarder and the 1" white boarder too. The white boarder is on all prints no matter whate they are called.

See my attachment to find your 'Behind the Scenes' area.

By default, the images and products you create through our site are listed for sale.
1. Log into your account on either Fine Art America or Pixels.com (it doesn't matter which)
2. Go to your profile page where you'll see that the word "images" is underlined. The option next to it is "collections". Choose "collections" and from that page, start a new collection
3. Name it whatever you'd like, move your images into it, and click the blue "submit" arrow to save it.

**You may now add new images by ticking that collection name on the upload page or
on the Edit Collection page, see 'Images Not In Collection' and add some.
Press Submit to save**

Do not forget to add a logo by clicking the Use As Logo link next to the image you wish to use whilst in Edit

If you wish that as your homepage, see Behind the Scenes / Default Settings and put Collections as the homepage
