Gain more EXPOSURE and have some FUN, showcasing what your artwork looks like on the great products.
RULE:
Limited to one post and one product, per person, per day.
(Comments or replies to posts are accepted and won't count towards a product post).
HOW:
1. Go to the page of the product you wish to show eg. cushion, tote bag. (Keep that page open)
2. Right click on the product image and 'save as' to your computer.
3. Abbie has provided the link to her image hosting area for members (thanks Abbie!), so head here: http://abbie-shores.com/pixels and upload the image you just saved.
4. Scroll down under the image and click on 'Embed Codes' and copy the 'HTML' under the 'Full Image' heading. Paste this into this forum thread and your image will show, BUT it won't have the link to your product page, so one more step!
5. Go back to the product page you have open and copy the URL address at the top of the browser window and paste that under the image. This is important so people can quickly visit your page if they like the product and hopefully buy it!!
TIP....to add the two links into the forum thread at the same time, paste the first image link into an open document on your computer, and then paste the second one. You now have them both ready to copy and paste into the forum together.
READY, SET, GO!!

This shower curtain of a "place" in a resort area just sold (Aug. 9). I can only image someone has a second home (vacation home) here and wants this as a "reminder" for their main home. The water at the top is the Atlantic Ocean and the town along the ocean is Fenwick Island, Delaware. The community in the foreground is called Cape Windsor. My home is about a mile to the lower left - outside of this scene.
Note: the image links to my FAA page for the full image.

Sorry, tried and didn't work for me...apparently I can't follow directions?
Saved to laptop, uploaded to Abbie's site, copied code it gave, pasted it here, copied embed code and pasted it.

I guess I can't follow directions either!
What a great idea! I would like to showcase my tote bags. They are my favorite of the products. Great sizes and construction and are very durable with a black handle and interior they stay "new" looking between washings.
My personal favorite is the medium sized bag. I think it would make a great "gift" bag for any occasion.

I treated myself to one of these tote bags almost 5 years ago. It has carried heavy shopping once or twice a week, every week, since then. Highly recommended!

"The green-haired water demons" is an abstract taken up on water with very few technical postprocessing. The seaweeds in water, due to the flowing water, seems to be green hair and the stones are the faces of the "demons", which are then those creatures that each of us sees them at least once in the life. These are my demons.

Thanks everyone who has embraced this thread, I love seeing the posts and hopefully this will become like a shop in itself with a great variety of products from talented artists.
I see some were having trouble with uploading, hopefully that can be overcome, it's beyond my control. Please let me know if I need to alter the instructions.
I added to the 'Rule' yesterday, advising that you can add comments or reply to a post and it won't be counted against your one product upload post. It's nice to hear your feedback too on your purchases of products.
Exciting for you Abbie to have a new video maker, I'm sure we will all be looking forward to seeing the results.

Hmm...that didn't work, then. And I could not save the image of a tote bag from the right-click menu on my product page in the first place, using Firefox browser on a Linux desktop. I can save the image on my Android mobile phone though, using Google browser. But Abbie's upload page gave no embed code - I uploaded the pic but then just got a blank page on Abbie's site, on desktop and mobile. I used the URL of the blank page here in case it worked as an embed code...but no joy.

I still haven't figured this out. Since Others have, I'm sure it's just me. If someone can enlighten me, I will be forever appreciative.
I have uploaded my image to Abbie's site. I cut and pasted the embed info and added the address at the top of my page and pasted both in this post. When I do that, I get a an image of my painting and when I click on it, I get the tote product page .
So, stupid question of the day....how do I get the image I posted on Abbie's page, to here?
I'm really confused.

This is a re-post of what I put up 23 days ago. It will allow you to post clickable images without accessing Abbie's site. You might try it.
You will need to copy and paste two things:
1) the url at the top of the product page
2) the 'copy image address' code of the product image (you find that by right clicking the product image).
Unfortunately, putting code in either the FAA email or this thread to show other people is impossible. It won't show up.
So, here is the code with an extra space inserted between all the letters and symbols. Just take out the extra spaces. After you take out the spaces, there should only be a space between the a and the h. Also, there should be a space between g and s. No spaces elsewhere (except between the two lines of code).
< a h r e f = ' put the product page url here ' >
< i m g s r c = " put the copied image address here " >
I hope that that made sense, and it works for you! It has been working for me.

Thanks Caitlyn. I altered the code a bit in line with some examples on my website and in the product page embed code, but still only ended up with this little square; it does link to the image page, but not the product page, and does not show it here. So I am giving up for now and posting the embed code link to the main image page - it really does look good on a throw pillow, honest!

Crystalline by Caitlyn Grasso.
Such delicate little details--the pollen on the tips of the pistils look positively crystalline up close! I processed this to remove most of the rich purple color of the Scabiosa flower leaving just a sllght tinge of lavender because the strong purple distracted from the amazing structure. If you want the vibrant purple, there are several other full color images in my Secret Garden collection. Many of my pincushion flower images also have bees in them because these delicate blossoms are a bee and butterfly magnet! All of the bees in those images are covered in these tiny particles of pollen--a beautiful, mutually beneficial relationship.
Pincushion flower, the common name for Scabiosa caucasica, comes from these straight pistils sticking out of the rounded center of the flower which reminded people of a pincushion with pins. But whatever you call it, Scabiosa is a wonderful free-flowering perennial perfect for any garden--secret, or otherwise.
It's also perfect for many walls! ;)
