Enjoyed putting the finishing touches on this one till 4 this morning....

Better Days, an acrylic abstract expressionist painting by artist Bill Tomsa, is painted in bright oranges, reds, teal, and blues. Better days is left up to the individual viewer as to it referring to the past, present or future.

I’m pleased with the mood of this, my most recent image.
Will add a second from another artist in a few mins when I find it.... not easy copy/paste on my phone!!

I love the beauty of the mountains and waterfalls

A wonderful trio of Pelicans standing on a sandy beach, the waves from the sea rushing toward their feet, the textured clouds in the sky with the sun shining though. What a perfect afternoon to be sitting on your blanket enjoying this spectacle.

Oh I can see i'm going to be loving this thread!!!! I have sooo many top top favorite images that I re visit again and again ... and here's one of the best ... it's from Bill O'Connor ... and just blows me away. By the by ... you can't see it, but down that sunny road? There's a woman walking away ... that's me. heh heh (not really!)



And ... ooo rather ashamed to add one of mine beneath Bill's but oh well ... here's a sunny little thing of my own. I absolutely love these guys, Eastern Bluebirds, and looks like they're back using our box for their nesting activities again this year!!! Let the worrying begin, lol!!!

TWO WINTRY CIRCUMSTANCES TO APPRECIATE


Frank Muller -

There are a number of circumstances that a single image may not capture; therefore a person who becomes attracted to a type of allure that nature provides in pictures, might want to set out to experience the 'all' of it that life provides. Frank shows us an example... He shows us the serenity of a snowfall in a wooded area and besides the tranquil setting he offers us 'Silence' - wonderfully reminding of the sanctity experienced when the forest becomes a precinct in the depths of winter and mind.



Kim DePietro -

And similarly - yet more precariously - the capture of wintry ice, collecting along a rock edge of mountain torrent in the grip of chilling cold, reminds us that splashing water, cold or not, makes a deafening sound - an unending roar throughout the forest! Even that the stillness of the ice is captured, one soon realizes that the moisture took time to gather and everything in its wake falls beneath its weight!



Our quiet images speak loudly it would seem.
