I just shot this last weekend while walking through a local park. Its amazing the colors that are born this time of year.

Oak Creek Canyon between Flagstaff and Sedona, Arizona is seen during autumn splendor.The vivid colors produced by the various trees in the forest (everything from maple and oak to aspen and pine) create a beautiful scene as seen from Oak Creek Canyon Vista.

A lonely landscape in VERY rural Texas between Amarillo and Dallas, TX.

A beautiful landscape setting at Downs Park in Pasadena Maryland. The Autumn colors are changing and reflecting over the pond where wildlife can be observed from the wooden observation deck.

This waterfall and Japanese Garden are located literally within blocks of the downtown core in which I live. Lucky me!

One of the entrances to the courtyard of the Omni hotel in New Orleans reveals a scene that has every element of the iconic elegant courtyard that is such a big part of the local architecture. Two overflowing bowls of blooming pink azaleas and cascading ferns on red brick pedestals frame the entryway and the slate path to a quietly dripping multi-tiered fountain in the middle of a small pool. The pool contains bromeliads with blooms in the same clear pink color as the flowers. The courtyard is enclosed by tall white windows with french doors that speak of the high ceilings in the lobby.

This hotel is right in the middle of the French Quarter and this elegant courtyard is pure South.

Shadows, golden sunlight, fall foliage, an historic general store - all along a country path.

Going through some old images shot with Nikon D1, D1X and D70 that are too small for Alamy’s current standards, but fine for small prints and products here.
