Ocean Wave
Ocean wave art print from an original watercolor painting.
A colorful blue, green ocean wave peaks and curls with white foam crest.
-
Waves have endless beauty in form, motion, color, sound, smells and vibrations.
The term “Blue Mind” describes the state of water-associated peace.
A body of water is mostly the same from moment to moment.
This predictability allows a part of your brain to relax.
-
Regularity without monotony, leads your mind into a state of involuntary attention, essential to creativity and problem solving.
-
Waves form, crest, curls to a spiral tube and breaks with regularity and without monotony.
This dreamy state of involuntary attention is a key characteristic of "Blue Mind".
-
Surround yourself with water-associated peace :)
Serenity and excitement at once.

DockDogs - The World's Premier Canine Aquatics Competition. This particular event was held at the annual Easton Waterfowl Festival. The competition was for distance from the dock to entry in the water as the dog retrieves an object thrown by the trainer. In this jump, both the object being retrieved as well as the dog hit the water at the same time!

Sacred waters: A boat on the Sea of Galilee seen during my visit to Israel. What a life-changing experience to take a boat ride and sing praises to my Creator on the very same lake my Savior Jesus walked. The Bible truly comes alive seeing these historic places in person.

Cloudy Beach, Recife, Brazil - by James McCormack.- Acrylic on Canvas
Winter in the southern hemisphere, on a beach in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil.
Recife is the capital Pernambuco, Brazil. It built on a series of islands connected by bridges, in a wide estuary. The city is spread out and has easy access to many beaches.
the region of Boa Viagem and Pina Beach, sheltered by reefs, welcomes surfers and swimmers. As a painter, observing the sea breeze in winter, I see the clouds constantly blowing from east to west horizon, constantly changing the colour of the sky and sea, early morning sunny and blue, then grey purple clouds after lunch, with a rougher green sea, deep purple patches of seaweed, turning into a late afternoon light mist off the coast with sunlight reflecting on the sea beyond.
