There was a thread about this a while back, that is where the BOTs are. Part of the discussion included the fact that not all hit from Beverly Hills are bots. A few folks, including Abbie, said they have seen the same behavior. Must be a place where a lot of traffic gets routed through.

Abbie's always said it, but this is the first time that I've been able to confirm it directly.

Keiz, Germany, New York, and Beverly Hills have been the three main bot locations crawling my pages.

Beverly Hills has been picking up steam recently.

In this case my friend who lives in Texas with cell phone bought in Texas with Texas phone number is showing up as Beverly Hills. She messaged me the 5 images she pinned and tweeted.

I get what you are saying...

In my case, I can usually tell what hits are bots hits by just looking at the time and frequency of the hits across a wide array of images. Most of what I am seeing is not human.

Carry that one step further... On my custom domain which is only a few weeks old, which has basically no image search ranks, and zero backlinks other than a few here on the forum should be getting very little traffic and Google Analytics concurs. I have not yet even began to market it or use it for linking.

But yet, I see a ton of automated traffic. Only 5-15% of which is real humans.

All of us who have been around for a while understand the bot traffic.

Abbie has been telling us for a while that Beverly Hills is also a major mobile hub, but since we have no way of looking at the stats ourselves we've had no idea how far that goes.

I'm just reporting that I have now seen direct evidence that it extends as far as Texas.

So, Beverly Hills is not just Beverly Hills and the surrounding area. It seems to be mobile traffic as far East and/or South as Texas

My point was the Beverly Hills traffic I am seeing is bot traffic. I can pretty much verify that by looking at my location data in GA. I have seen no real visitors from Beverly Hills but yet they are all over my pages. I can also come close to verifying it by simply looking at the timing and pattern of the hits.

Glad to hear some hits from Beverly Hills are real. :)
