Has Any One Tried The Naked Wine Promotion?

I am both an artist and a shopper on Fine Art America/Pixels. I received a Naked Wine Promotion Voucher with my most recent purchase. As a person who loves wine, this caught my attention. Now before I go crazy and purchase $160 of wine for only $60, I decided to conduct some research. Here is some frequent complaints:

-The voucher is not available in all states. While the voucher is available in my state (SC), it is not for my neighbor (NC). I live on the border, and received training on serving alcohol in NC. I understand why this is not available in NC because of laws on having discounts on alcohol sales.
-Many have stated that Naked Wines have charged $40 a month after their purchase. Their terms states that you do not need to sign up for the subscription to use the voucher; however, reports suggest that Naked Wines just signs people up anyways without their consent. How easy is it to cancel this subscription? Has anyone used it and was not automatically signed up? Is there a way to avoid this?
-This promotion seems to be permanent. While FAA says is temporary, many have stated they get the emails every time they make a purchase. If I have clients, they might ask me questions about this promotion. Many artist on this site find the emails a nuisance.

Has anyone tried this promotion? What was your experience? I would like to know before I drink, I mean purchase, $160 worth of wine.
If I decide to give this promotion a go, I might mention it to potential clients but inform them about the small print that Naked Wines doesn't say unless one conduct some research.

Naked Wine pays companies to put the vouchers in with products, not only FAA.

I've received them in everything from auto parts to medical supplies.

Bought reusable adult incontinence underwear for my mother and they were in that.

Just sayin.

I get the offer every time I buy something but it’s useless to me as I live in U.K. and it’s not valid here!

Read everything very carefully. Understand what you might be getting into. Check out their web site. Read the online reviews. Many bloggers have a lot to say both good and bad.

Gill, I'm surprised it's not valid there. The UK is where they started.

Chuck, I have received offers in the UK but they have codes that state the amount in GB £ The vouchers from here are all in US $ and they say not valid outside the USA

i don't drink wine, and the fact i still have to pay $60, that's a lot for a wine or anything, i never heard of, and that it has to come via shipping. (where stuff is just dropped in front of my door whether i'm home or not.).

Like Gill I get them but cannot use them

Not that I would anyway, I only buy cheap plonk for cooking

Many cheap wines are just as good as the expensive ones.

The labeling helps too.
