My first experience with using digital charcoal in Procreate. Charcoal is one of my favorite mediums. Miss the mess, but this was very cool.

While painting with a group of which I am a juried member, the Arizona Plein Air Painters (APAP), I came across this quiet alleyway in Glendale, AZ.

This mixed media painting is another addition to my new Rust Art collection of rust inspired paintings and photographs.

Calm your mind and feel the serenity with this rhythmic fish kaleidoscope.

World's Away ~ This series delves into the affinity between Sky, Middle Earth and Underworld but does so with fluidity rather than with firm lines of demarcation.

The ulterior purpose was to intuitively capture this threefold interrelationship in all its manifold colours and configurations . I waited for emotions to be evoked and for images to manifest without ever predicting the end result beforehand.

Just Another Day

This print is Titled "Josephs Pipe of Many Colors" after my youngest brother Joseph who worked along side us in engineering and in the pipework industry and who was a very
colorful character.

Created this mixed media piece for my latest ad campaign on twitter. I utilized the elements of digital art, digital text, and put some of my digital photo paintings, and photography on some of the various products we offer.

(Husband's painting depicting life & habitat of one of our Australian tropical native birds, the Curlew. Very young Curlew chicks are shown huddled together in their nest, located on flat ground, usually in an open field. Curlew parent birds make a very distinct eerie, high-pitched wailing sound heard at night.)

A dose of Whimsy to add to this day.

Watercolor painting mostly done in negative painting technique with a colorful first wash and carving out the shapes of the leaves. Inspired by the beautiful colors of autumn and the remaining poppy seed pods in my garden.

Watercolor painting of a field of white poppies. I love the transparency and fragility of this flower it is always a pleasure and challenge to paint white flowers in watercolor, becuse the only white color we have is the white of the paper so you have to be very careful not to distroy it.

I sell these as Fine Art Coasters at the Maker Fairs I vend at. The art is calleged on and sealed, ready for utilitarian use.
