An Apology

I am sorry I have been so negative here at times. Life can be so hard. I hope I haven't been bringing other people down. Peace out.

JL,

That day and ever since you and David made me very happy with what I received

Art Prints

By the way, I have other examples of your creativity and eventually expect to have more

JL.

Saying you haven't would be a lie... I am not going to lie. However, I more than most, 'get it', as you know.

Somedays it's very hard.

JL I just saw this on Facebook and it seemed appropriate. From The Tao of Pooh:

"Piglet?" said Pooh.

"Yes Pooh?" said Piglet.

"Do you ever have days when everything feels... Not Very Okay At All? And sometimes you don't even know why you feel Not Very Okay At All, you just know that you do."

Piglet nodded his head sagely. "Oh yes," said Piglet. "I definitely have those days."

"Really?" said Pooh in surprise. "I would never have thought that. You always seem so happy and like you have got everything in life all sorted out."

"Ah," said Piglet. "Well here's the thing. There are two things that you need to know, Pooh. The first thing is that even those pigs, and bears, and people, who seem to have got everything in life all sorted out... they probably haven't. Actually, everyone has days when they feel Not Very Okay At All. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

"And the second thing you need to know... is that it's okay to feel Not Very Okay At All. It can be quite normal, in fact. And all you need to do, on those days when you feel Not Very Okay At All, is come and find me, and tell me. Don't ever feel like you have to hide the fact you're feeling Not Very Okay At All. Always come and tell me. Because I will always be there."

JL,

Don't worry about it.

As my dad used to say to me when the anxieties were there in spades, "at age 55 I stopped worrying about my golf game, and my golf game got better". He of course was discussing life in general. But golf comes first. LOL

I suggest you watch the back nine today of the PGA Championship. Life is short, golf tournaments are long. Enjoy the tension in the competition, it is Sunday.

that's fine, on the topic of winnie the pooh, your Eeyore, so that's fine. everyone has their personality..... of the characters in that story, he was usually my favorite because he kept it real.

Hey, JL?

That takes greatness to display humility (don't the rules just drive us crazy sometimes?)

I accept your apology because it is such a rare gift (especially on the interwebs) and I will remind myself that if there is something that pixels on a screen can do that can harsh my mellow, then in all probability my mellow is being held too close to the campfire flame, and that's my fault.

It doesn't mean the flame's not hot.

Now I'm Jonesing toasted marshmallows! Dang you JL! It's all your fault.

Peace IN, my brother or sister or otherwise, I'm not going to demand cis specificity on this.

I have always liked you and your clever art. Are you beginning to use positive language?

What is positive language?

After Julian died I took to looking in the mirror, straight into my own eyes, repeating the mantra, "it was not your fault. It was his life not yours" and then smiled at me.

Then I took up martial arts and women's boxing and kick the hell out of men once or twice a week.

It's working for me.
