Yes, the domain names are not secure. So then you should forward to the original pixels URL. That way you can still send the domain name link to others but then the URL will change from colorsofbliss to the original pixels URL. I have done that myself.

my domain name is jessicajenney.com, but forwarded to:

https://jessica-jenney.pixels.com/

so now it is secure.

Jessica, is there an easy guide that will show me step by step how to forward my domain name, http://carolcottrell.com/ so it is secure like this, https://carolcottrell.pixels.com/

I want to be able to still send my domain name link to others, but show that it's safe.

Yes, Sarah you can. I also did it through GoDaddy

To forward a domain to your secure pixels site:

Select https:// and enter your pixels domain in the box.

Select Permanent(301) and Forward Only

Check the Update nameservers and DNS

It'll take some time for the DNS chnages to take effect. Usually within a couple of hours. Your old settings should continue to work until the new ones take effect.

When i try the pixels address for my site i get the home page of fineartamerica.com
it does not show my home page

my domain name "colorsofbliss.com" changed to "https://colorsofbliss.pixels.com/" ends up with https://fineartamerica.com/

any suggestions?

Sarah .. The people I bought my domain name set it all up, when I explained I'm unable to fathom the instructions, me, being 80+.
They might help you, if you mail or phone, and ask you GoDaddy,or,whomever......

Look behind the scenes where it says "Your Own Website" That's what you should put.

Select the https:// from the drop down and enter

in the box

The colour of bliss.com goes on your custom domain area on https://sarahleah-hankes.pixels.com

Or if forwarding, you forward to https://sarahleah-hankes.pixels.com

jessica. i did as u suggested. found the url https://sarahleah-hankes.pixels.com/ and it did connect direcytly to my site.
