Just Learning How To Use Fineartamerica.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I only want to sell my art and prints. I also want to learn how to print my work and sell it.

What is your question?

if your work is presented like it is above - it won't print. it has to be clear, sharp, clean and no edges. you don't print your own work, you have to upload it, they print it. first upload work then worry about the rest.

Tracye,

Nice art! To help us help you, make a list of what you think you need help with and then people can begin to answer with suggestions.

First tip, when you copy your artwork, make sure that ONLY the artwork shows, no frame or anything other than the art itself! FAA will not print your order, even if sold, because of a bad crop!

Next question?

I could see your art selling to the right audience, however you need to make a printable reproduction of it. First it needs to be flat, you may have to mount it to a board for that. Second, you need to take a high resolution photo or scan of the art work. The photo has to be straight on, well exposed, sharp, and no glare, something I find all but impossible to achieve so I scan instead. An alternative to mounting your art to a board would be to take it to a place that has a drum scanner, that will cost you though. The next thing is to make sure your photo/scan is straight and cropped, there can be nothing showing outside of the edges of your painting.

Also, your image is way too small!

Art Prints
this will not print due to cropping on the edge, and that date code. even if sold as an original, that should be cleaned first. you'll want more keywords and a better description as to what we are looking at.

Sell Art Online
as said this is too small, and the crops are showing. you don't want the clips showing either.

you'll want these professionally photographed, or at least straightened and cleaned in a photo editor.

I've worked on my images a good deal. There are still a few hiccups. I thank all of you for being so kind and helpful to me. I'll keep plugging away until I figure it all out.

you'll want to increase the brightness on some of them, unless its supposed to look dark. quite a few look like you didn't have enough light in the room.

Photography Prints
others are way too small to print. you also want way more keywords. think about everything, what's she's wearing, doing, time of day, time of year, and so on

Photography Prints
this one won't print, you have a corner crop issue, you cropped the edge of your name off, and its not in focus - has motion blur, plus its dark. be sure your monitor is calibrated (with a tool), or isn't set to the brightest amount, screens are too bright. what looks bright on your screen will look darker on others. i have mine set to around 25% or so.

just a side note, i think you should be charging a lot more for your originals.

Sell Art Online
another one that's too small. i didn't check the rest. you want to aim for at least 1000px (without enlarging). that will give you a 10" print.

2) Post your monthly sales threads.

3) post your image and post a like, comment etc on the artist above your.

4) Post a comment here and other artist will post back.

You have some great artwork. Once you have sorted out the problems as mentioned above you need to get advertising yourself on social media and anywhere else that you can.FAA do not promote you it is all down to you.

Thanks to all of you who offered sage advice. I've been working on cleaning up my act.
