Name a piece of music that sort of matches up to a specific artist or artwork. An overly obvious one might be Van Gogh's Stary Night with Don Mclean's song of the same name. Yes you may use yourself if you wish.

The Star Spangled Banner (actually goes with a lot of my military/fort images). I just uploaded these yesterday - and will likely make a color-splash effect with the B&W image.

And one more - with a song that I like to perform on acoustic guitar. "Bad Moon Rising" by Credence Clearwater Revival.

Beethoven's 5th Symphony. The opening image and the closing images of this video are the famous notes of his symphony as art pieces. The music is the symphony. The video tells a story of turbulence.

"Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring"
I know it looks obvious, but that isn't how it happened. I wanted to make a piece of sheet music look vintage and I just used some copies I had, not even noticing the titles. Only after I had photographed it, did I read the title. I had another piece of music where the ink ran, so I couldn't use that one. It was "Joy to the World." What are the chances of that randomly happening?

Rod Stewart ....... I Am Sailing
I Am Sailing
Rod Stewart
I am sailing
I am sailing
Home again
'Cross the sea
I am sailing,
Stormy waters
To be near you,
To be free
I am flying,
I am flying
Like a bird
'Cross the sky
I am flying,
Passing high clouds
To be with you,
To be free
Can you hear me, can you hear me
Through the dark night, far away
I am dying, forever crying
To be with you, who can say
Can you hear me, can you hear me
Through the dark night far away
I am dying, forever crying
To be with you, who can say

Ooooooh, I love Sailing VIVA. I am a huge Rod Stewart fan, especially the Faces. I've seen him perform twice, but unfortunately both concerts were post Faces. What I would give to see that reunion live! Cindy Incidentally is one of my most fave songs eva.
Here's a few more for ya:
We've made it on to page two, LOL!

Time in a Bottle
Jim Croce
LYRICS
If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day
'Til eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you
If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then,
Again, I would spend them with you
But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go
Through time with
If I had a box just for wishes
And dreams that had never come true
The box would be empty
Except for the memory
Of how they were answered by you
But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go
Through time with

Paul Simon - Homeward Bound
"I'm sitting in the railway station.
Got a ticket to my destination.
On a tour of one-night stands my suitcase and guitar in hand.
And every stop is neatly planned for a poet and a one-man band.
Homeward bound,
I wish I was,
Homeward bound,
Home where my thought's escaping,
Home where my music's playing,
Home where my love lies waiting
Silently for me."

Joe Tex, These Taming Blues
Phosphorescent
Is it ever gonna not be so hard to see you around?
Am I really really really really gonna have to really gonna have to really have to leave town?
I mean I called upon a bunch of angels calling angels ain't you supposed to come and take away these blues?
I mean we came upon a bunch of rabies and there is nothing all us little animals can do.
All five kinds of rains
All nine kinds of thunder and
Eighteen white horses who will not ever come to me!
Don't plant your feet, love, in that garden of blame.
Don't break me no more, love.
I'm already tame.
Is it ever gonna stop this trouble of just being around my friend?
Am I really really really really gonna have to really gonna have to really have to leave town again?
I mean I lay myself upon the water calling water ain't you supposed to come and save us all from all these flames?
I mean we're caught among the awful branches and you know they're burning us and yes they're burning all of us's names.
And I stood on the shore.
All wilted and wondering,
"Ain't you got nobody, ain't you still sweet tonight?"
So don't plant no more feet, love, in that forest of blame.
Don't break me no more, love.
I'm already tame.
(Hey there!)
