You may open an image thread on these conditions

NO

best summer
Best hotpoint washing machine
Best of your puppies
My latest sunflower looking east

Etc

You understand, I know you do

YES

Posts asking advice..images used as advice
Discussion about something ... For instance where did you live when younger, with discussion
Discussion about a style of art

Etc

If in doubt ask first

This rule was set in place as we could not see support queries or real discussions for the endless threads with only images in and no chat. At one point there were two pages of image threads only.

My point is, we were getting ridiculous ones Just to have loads of images in the forum.

Image threads do no good at all Unless based around discussion. Then they are ok

Plus this is a discussions forum, so all images should be part of discussions

I really like that this rule is being relaxed. I can see how it was getting kind of crazy before but to have so few image threads was kind of strange on an art site. This is perfect, imo.

LG - for Mike...

What does LG stand for? Two meaings, actually. It stands for Lucky Goldstar and the company's tagline, Life's Good. Life is indeed good for LG because it is one of the most successful electronics companies in the world. LG Corp. is a conglomerate in South Korea that deals in the production of telecommunications products, chemicals and electronics.

A third meaning may just be "Little Gremlins." LOL

there were a number of samsung washing machines that did explode, i don't think they set fire to houses like the phones did. but if you have an exploding product, its best to get rid of any of the evidence as it were.
