I Hope Abbie And All Our British Members Are Ok!

I'm just hearing in the US about the attack on at the concert in Manchester England. I hope all our friends over there are well. No matter what the reason for it, I want to send well wishes to the survivors and prayers for the friends and loved ones slain in the attack.
I'm sure all here feel the same way.

I touched base with Abbie on FB right after it happened ... she is okay. Fingers crossed and love being sent for everyone else and all their loved ones.

Abbie, hope you and yours keep safe. Much love to the great folk of Manchester.
Pity pity the innocent children.

The world is more impossible every day; the human race is rushing toward self-destruct mode. I can't even imagine the world my beautiful, 18-month-old niece will grow up in.
So very sad . . .

Hope the best for our friends across the waters. I hope the appropriate steps are taken to rid ourselves of this disease that hampers good people from living a peaceful life.

Hi, yes, I'm just outside Manchester and was not there yesterday. Last week was the latest I had been.

It's so terrible.

It was a suicide bomber they say and I was going in today but they've asked us to stay out if not urgent so I'm going elsewhere.

I'm lucky that I can do that :(

Even more pleased than usual to see/hear from you today, Abbie!

Look at the police in Abbie's video - they are such an amazing bunch of heroes as they walk towards potential trouble and calm down the public simply through their professionalism.

Abbie, when I first saw the news I thought of you immediately. So glad to hear that you and yours are safe.

Manchester may be across the pond from some of us but it still feels like it happened in our backyard.

Hardly ever watch the news anymore. Too much of this... My first clue last night was seeing the views spike on an image here that I did several years ago of the Union Jack with Manchester on it. It's still at the top of the graph now. Normally that's an exciting thing. Today not so much. :-(

Glad Abbie is okay but sorry for all those affected...

It is bad when anyone is killed like this but sadly most of the dead and injured are youngsters at a concert. 22 dead and 59 injured

Terribly tragic. Disease is a good way to put it, Glenn. I can never figure out why so many sign up to go against human nature and cause harm others, and it makes me furious. It's like a flip has been switched in their brains. Wish we could crack that somehow.

My heart goes out to all those poor innocent people and their families.

I live just north of London so not near Manchester but I imagine that all the big cities are at risk from these evil cowards.. How can anyone want to maim and kill innocent children, they must be depraved.

A homeless man being hailed as a hero for his actions following the bombing in Manchester on Monday will soon have his own place to stay, thanks to West Ham United.
