Inactive Group

I started a group than I could not take care of anymore, the new admin is not doing anything with the group. Any way to close it or can I get it back?

I would suggest you contact the new administrator and if she doesn't respond after say a week or so (they may be on vacation or ill, etc.) then drop Ludwig a line...

If you gave up the group to somebody then I think you should bow out gracefully. I took over a group for somebody who asked for a replacement because they said they couldn't take care of it. That person didn't like what changes I made to the rules and so they started a new group just like the one they said they couldn't take care of anymore. NOT cool, IMHO.

I have adopted several groups in the past and the previous admins either couldn't keep their noses out of my business or the members were unhappy with the changes I made. They made it so miserable for me that I ended up giving them back to the previous admin or let them fade away. It's always best, in my opinion, that if you let something go, do just that...let it go!

I guess you are right CJ , not that I want to change anything but when someone offers to adopt they should continue to take care of it. No new images since I gave it. I am letting go, thanks for your advice everyone, have a great week
