I agree with CJ. (nice avatar) This could appear to look like vote solicitation.

Rarely do I plug my myriad contests or join the community discussions, CJ, so thanks for noticing.

No, not 'promoting' our front-runner, lol, but, since it is 'as such', seemed appropriate that it might spark some interest as far as getting folks to view & vote.

It would be silly to think I would promote one image over any other as there are many worthy entries. If not, I wouldn't have gone out of my way to share the link with others.

Your are welcome to your opinion...and I am welcome to decide how best to share my own contests.

I think my initial post says it well. I figure folks can make up their own minds about who & whose images to vote for. Just sayin'. I also find that a visual can be of help.

CJ, I don't give a hoot about what Jessica or anyone thinks about my posting of an image from one of my contests in a discussion thread. Fyi...and yikes.

This thread is about supporting fellow members, not about being critical.

Bah! I went through every page and voted about 20 times for those that I thought were 'worthy' - I never looked at the leader board.

And Brooks always has some of the best, most interesting contests - don't know how I missed this one.

You are one of those, like me, who works their way through the entries and doesn't take the easy way out by going directly to the leaderboard. I thank you for that...and your comments.

I agree this one has some gorgeous images in it. More than usual, really.

Funny, I've said this before, some contests I scroll through have a lot of pure junk in them (badly cropped, crooked, blown out images, faded, etc.) and some contests have mostly beautiful images in them. Well done, well processed, well painted or whatever. This one has some stunning images in it.

If it helps, I've probably removed an entry or two of everyone's at this juncture! Good thing I usually allow more than one per contest, lol.

The reason you see no 'junk' is that I go through each page and remove all those that don't fit the description or follow the rules. Takes time, but that way I keep it clean.
