I did my weekly traditional media art project today. I figured I hadn't drawn a chicken for a while so I did this pastel of a Black Australorp Chick.

I am always in awe of these magnificent, powerful, and brutally fierce birds. When one allows me to get close, it is always a special, breathtaking, and un-nerving moment.

Bournemouth Pier Late Summer Morning - acrylic painting
