Last Word

Right, listen up, everyone....I’m kicking off this game of Last Word and making it clear from the start: I WILL be the one with the final say. You can try your best, but I’m not going down without a fight.

Who’s brave enough to challenge me? Bring it on, but don’t get your hopes up .... I’m not planning on letting anyone steal my crown!

I will have

I have been shot with an arrow ....they have killed me. I see angels coming to take me away. With my final breath I say...."I win. I win. I win. I got the last word!"

Sorry, I got sidetracked. Maria is very very close. Close enough.

it is Shellyce

Good guesses everyone!

I used to go by Shelly with a y but there seemed to always be another one near me whether in school or at work. So I changed the spelling to Shelli with an i.

I guess I am getting old because when I was younger I would never tell anyone what my real name was. LOL

Maria Faria Rodrigues

My next guess would have been 'Shelly', since

you said: ". .. You can call me Shelli ( which was originally spelled with a y not an i)"

'Shellyce' is a beautiful name, especially when one pronounce it with a French accent. ;)

Shelli Fitzpatrick

Merci!

Just checking in ....no one has got it right yet.

And Shelli .....who would have ever guessed Shellyce......?

I've never been to France.....or even Quebec.....so if that is a common French name.....I would have never guessed....

An English name, Shellyce....of Old English origin and means "clearing on a bank" or "meadow's edge," derived from place names in England where a woodland clearing was situated near a ledge or hillside; essentially signifying someone who lived near such a location.

Tony Singarajah

No need to know French to guess an English name

Shelli Fitzpatrick

Yes I never even thought it was a recognized name. My Dad claimed it was Gaelic and I always suspected that he made it up. LOL

Thank you Abbie for the name meaning and origins!

My middle name is French. Renae

Old English means he was probably telling you the exact truth

Roger Swezey

Shelli, I'm shocked, by my ignorance.

(Note: I tried to find a more appropriate way to use " Shelli-shocked")
