Cumbrian artist partners with national chain to make artworks affordable
Artist Simon McCall has teamed up with national home and leisure chain The Range to offer prints of his artworks at prices people can afford.
Simon, who is based in Silloth and has previously offered his creations for sale on a 'pay whatever you think is fair' basis, said "We're all having a tough time at the moment financially with the cost of living crisis, and when it's a challenge just to put food on the table and keep warm something like buying art becomes an unaffordable luxury. But it shouldn't, because it's times like these when we need art the most. When you find an artwork that really resonates with you it can lift your mood and make you feel good, and having something that is beautiful to you on your wall can really give you a boost."
