Artifacts are used by museums to tell an historical story. But what if we looked at those objects as works of art as well. This exhibit consists of 17 original photos by Ira A. Marcus of Elgin History Museum artifacts presented in a most unusual way. There are abstracts, macro views highlighting magical details, digitally manipulated images that add a bit of whimsy, and some photos just show off the craftsmanship of artisans from bygone eras. In addition to the photos, the original objects are on display.
