"Love's not Time's fool,"
William Shakespeare.
Sonnet CXVI

Conceptual piece using two popular and iconic symbols, one of time, and one of love, respectively, to illustrate that "love is all you need." Despite passages of time, if you act from a place, a feeling, of love, within, always - all the time - you will never be without it.
Hourglass is timeless indeed in this illustration, as it is absent of the time component (its sand).
In its place, lodged in the about-face, turning point, or opening for the passing of the sand (time) is a dessicated perfectly preserved red rosebud. The rosebud being at the center of the hourglass signifies it being central to time. Act with love, always, and time doesn't matter.
Symbolic of how when you spend time with someone you love, you don't keep time, you just enjoy the moment. Also, absence of sand, absence of time, presence of rose, presence of love, indicating that time is never plentiful enough when spent enjoying it with those you love. But at the same time, love and time should be defined as the same, because when doing anything, you should be doing it from and with love.
Additional inspiration for this piece comes from the Country Western song, "Time is Love."
