Rip Cowboy

I discovered this morning that Cowboy died on 2-20-2017. I first met Cowboy and his two Chihuahuas at the grand opening of the Music City Center here in Nashville. They were very gracious and allowed me the honor of photographing them. He joked that perhaps I could sale some postcards of them. I lost touch with them and then I saw him working at corner near a highly traveled street. We have a local paper that the homeless sale so they can make monies. I believe he was living at a hotel down the street and worked the corner most days.

RIP .... what a colourful character, and I'm so glad you captured him for (local) posterity.

Thanks Viva. I had printed off the photo awhile back and had planned on giving it to him but never had it with me when it was a good time to give it to him.

Dorothy. I believe one of them passed on and the other one was seen with one of the ladies that ever so often would be there with him. I think they all lived at the motel so hopefully the remaining dog is with one of them.
