Can We See What Sells And In What Quantity That Day Or Year?

Just wondering if we can see what sells in order to scope out what people are more interested in buying for that day or year and how many prints were downloaded?

thank you

no. that's private. if people knew, then the store would be filled only with those images. and even if you did know, it doesn't mean you'll sell any of it, because of how the site is set up. and how well that person is known. its not just the subject, but the style.

there is no particular thing that sells better than another thing. its best to post your best stuff, and advertise it. you will need an avatar if you want to be in the search. assume one of those images were sold. you can see things on the recently sold page, but its not that accurate, it repeats images, and doesn't show all of them. and it doesn't show how many were sold. if your constantly chasing others, you won't make an impact for yourself.

i suggest keep uploading at the quality you have now, and advertise it, i can see it selling.

Isnt there a recently sold page that you can see what sells. It pops up everytime I log in, but I dont pay attention to it.

there is a sold page, but its not that accurate, because you don't know if it was printed, and there aren't too many stats on it. i like to ignore that page myself.

There is such a wide variety of interest in all kinds of images and past performance does not predict future trends.

I love to look at the Recently Sold page...I find lots of great artists to follow. Andy, that page will give you some of the info you are interested in: You can find it here: http://fineartamerica.com/recentprintsales.html

There is, as Mike says, no particular thing that sells better than another thing - but there are things that don't sell well at all - and you will seldom find one on the sold page (ok, I said that, so tomorrow the page will be filled with) digitally created non-representational abstracts.

I just do my own thing. I could careless what is trending for another few artists. Does not float my boat.

Andy,

Actually you want to work on selling what is not trending.
